Hermanus is a coastal town
located less than an hour's drive from Cape Town and is an extremely popular

is known as the "heart of the Whale Coast" and is recognised by World Wildlife
Fund as the best land-based whale watching area in the world. It is in
the bays of Hermanus that the enormous Southern Right Whales come to calve
and whale watching is best between the months of September and November.

a small, natural and rocky inlet that resembles a basin. The area is a
