| Mtwalume is a few
kilometers south of Scottburg on the Durban South Coast in KwaZulu-Natal.
A picturesque seaside village with wonderful beaches - rock pools, a tidal
swimming pool and picnic areas. There is a caravan park and resort
close to the beach, and the village itself is just 12 kilometres from Hibberdene,
with a shopping mall for those things you need most when on holiday.
Close to Mtwalume is the Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve, a 2200 hectare
nature reserve which comprises upland grassland and three densely wooded
valleys. The reserve carries several species of buck and antelope as well
as porcupine and zebra. Here you will find four species of mongoose and
the black backed jackal. The reserve is a blaze of colour in Spring, the
wildflowers rivaling those of Namaqualand. |

Situated in the Village
of Mtwalume which is 90 kms from Durban is this secure, access controlled
thatch cottage. Top rock and surf and paddle ski fishing spot with excellent
opportunities for spearfishing and crayfish diving. Beautiful unspoilt
beaches with a pristine lagoon, tidal pool and excellent waves for surfing.
The sardines have been netted during the run for the last three years at
Mtwalume Beach. The birdlife if prolific! Double
bedroom downstairs. Double bedroom upstairs with TV, en-suite bath and
toilet. Fold-up Futon in the lounge. Shared toilet and shower downstairs.

| The last resort before Port
Edward at the end of the Durban South Coast, Munster is an idyllic
village with excellent rock-climbing, beautiful and very picturesque beaches.
The beachfront has 3 shark-protected beaches, all patrolled by lifeguards
during the school holidays. The town is just a 10 minute drive from
the Wild Coast Casino, over the Mtamvuma River. Close by is the Umtamvuma
Nature Reserve with a nesting colony of Cape vultures among the high cliffs
that run along the river. This 3150 hectare nature reserve is home to the
black backed jackal, baboons, and the large spotted genet, along with several
species of buck, the samango monkey and leopards. The thick forest is home
to some 80 species of bird and is thick with ferns, lichen and wild flowers. |

freestanding double-storey private home in Munster. Sleeps a maximum of
12. It is on a north-facing promontory overlooking the beach and breakers
at Dolphin Bay and the estuary of the Kandandlovu River. The lawn flows
into the Admiralty Reserve with a pathway directly in front of the house
leading down to the beach. The property, in common with most surrounding
properties, is unfenced to allow free movement of local wild life. Bushbuck,
common duiker and blue-duiker are regular visitors. There is abundant birdlife.
