PORT EDWARD ACCOMMODATION, HIBISCUS COAST, KWAZULU-NATAL SOUTH COAST, SOUTH AFRICA

Port Edward is a small resort town situated on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, near the Eastern Cape Province border.  Port Edward is a fanatical tourist resort for seasonal visitors from more affluent regions of South Africa. The coastline between here and Port Shepstone to the north is popularly known as the Hibiscus Coast because of its lush sub-tropical gardens.  There are many tourist seasons that influence Port Edward but the most significant is the Christmas / New Year period spanning from mid-December to mid-January.  Another main season coincides with the Sardine run natural phenomenon in May to July.

Aprils Gift Farm, Self-Catering Thatched Cottage, PORT EDWARD
Charming thatched cottage located on a banana and macadamia farm, situated five minutes from the beach, golf courses, and shops, and just 10 minutes from the Wild Coast Sun. The cottage was recently renovated, with comfortable, well-appointed self-catering facilities in tranquil surroundings far from the maddening crowd. April's Gift Farm can sleep up to 12 people in the main house and the annexe, and facilities include two lock-up garages, a braai area, and DStv if guests bring their own card. There are also wonderful opportunities for birding, walking, and picnicking around the small dam. 
Estuary Villa, Self-Catering Beachfront Holiday Villa, PORT EDWARD
The VILLA is situated in very secure surroundings on a Country Estate, a short stroll to the beach.  All three bedrooms are en-suite with shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Cutlery, crockery and glassware provided for 6 guests. The bedrooms come fully equipped with sheets, blankets, duvets, pillows and towels for use in the Villa. Please bring your own swimming towels. There is a TV with DSTV decoder, please bring your own card. Braai facilities outside. Strictly no pets allowed.  Port Edward and the surrounding district have a large variety of activities that cater to all tastes and requirements. Close proximity to the Wild Coast Sun Country Club (10 minutes) and San Lameer Country Club (15 minutes) keep the pros and amateurs out of mischief. Port Edward also has a nine hole course that is a great way to relax. There is a game reserve (Lake Eland) 35 minutes away and the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve offers a variety of trails for the enthusiasts and the fitness challenged. 
Ocean View B & B, Bed & Breakfast, PORT EDWARD
Ocean View B & B is situated in Port Edward 800 metres from the coastline. The sea views are approximately 15 kilometres, the inland views are awesome.  We offer 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 have a shower, toilet and wash basin and the other 2 have a corner bath, shower, toilet and basin. All the bedrooms are aircontioned and have safes. There is a 6 chanel TV in each room and Plasma 106cm TV in the lounge. All beds are upmarket double and queen size beds.  There is a pool which is 15 metres long and there is good security, it is totally walled with security lighting and remote control gate access.  Breakfast is either at Ocean View or we give you a voucher to eat at the Estuary Country Estate Hotel or the Lighthouse.  We offer tours to the immediate area, deep sea fishing, skiing, wake boarding, dolphin and whale watching and lately have acquired 2 jetski's for the more adventurous.
