Amanzimtoti is a
coastal town just south of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. According
to local legend, when the Zulu king Shaka led his army down the south coast
on a raid against the Pondos in 1828, he rested on the banks of a river.
When drinking the water, he exclaimed "Kanti amanzi mtoti" (isiZulu: "So,
the water is sweet"). The river came to be known as Amanzimtoti ("Sweet
Waters"). The Zulu word for "sweet" is actually mnandi, but, as Shaka's
mother had the name Nandi, he invented the word toti to replace mnandi

This recently refurbished apartment boasts 180 degree seaviews from all
rooms with sliders onto balcony. The apartment comes fully furnished and
can comfortably sleep 4 adults and 2 children. 232 Stella Maris has
a brand new fully fitted kitchen, bathrooms and new furniture throughout.
The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms, the first bedroom has a double
bed and double bunk with spacious cupboards, the main bedroom has queen
size bed, plenty of cupboard space. It has two modern bathrooms,
the main bathroom is fitted with bathtub and hand held shower, the en suite
is fitted with a shower. Both bathrooms are fully tiled to the ceiling.
TV's are provided in the main bedroom and lounge. A DVD player and DSTV
decoder (own sim card required)is also available. All linen is provided

Pool Guest Cottage is situated on the Durban Lower South Coast, 1km from
picturesque and safe beaches. The cottage is a log style cottage that sleeps
4 comfortably. It has scenic views of the surrounding area and panoramic
views of the ocean. A large patio extends from the lounge over the crystal
blue rock pool. For your convenience the pool is HEATED, so you can swim
in winter as well. Set in a tropical garden setting and surrounded
by lush vegetation. The cottage offers privacy and tranquility, with use
of the entertainment area, bar area, braai facilities, pool and a trampoline.
The cottage opens into the lounge, which has the patio extending from it.
It is styled in cottage style furniture, a wood paneled interior, with
TV and Hi-fi facilities. The cottage has an open plan kitchen, fitted with
modern appliances, cutlery & utensils. Off the kitchen is the bar counter,
for the occasional sundowner. The main bedroom has a double bed, with a
semi- en suite bathroom, with separate doors from either the bedroom or
the lounge.
