Farm
215 Nature Retreat & Fynbos Reserve, GANSBAAI
Farm 215 is a private and
secluded country- house in the middle of a private nature reserve of 800
hectares, boasting the diverse and special nature of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Farm 215 is the winner of the Cape Fox award 2007 for sustainable and responsible
management of the land. Luxury accommodation is offered in freestanding
"fynbos-suites" spaced out along a meandering path and in spacious rooms
on the first floor of the old homestead. Generous meals, made from local
ingredients and an eye to detail, are served in a new outbuilding which
is purely powered by solar energy. A solar-heated lap-pool of 25 meters
is connected with a long wooden boardwalk to the homestead. The access-gate
to Farm 215 is on the gravel road from Gansbaai to Elim and Cape Agulhas,

is situated in de Kelders, prime whale watching area. The Roundhouse is
three stories high round building with a thatched roof. The house has a
very modern African feel to it and every care has been taken to assure

connectivity through out the house. The suites, which consists of a bedroom,
living room and bathroom, has all the little extras such as a microwave,
