Heilbron
is a small farming town in the Free State province of South Africa which
services the cattle, dairy, sorghum, sunflower and maize industries. It
also serves as a dormitory town for the Gauteng metropolis.
Game
farming in the district grew to the extent that it is believed that game
numbers reached an all time high, evident in the tourist numbers. Due to
its close proximity to Gauteng (60 km) the town became ever more popular
to weekend tourists and city dwellers in need of a relaxing weekend filled
with peace and quiet and lots of fresh air. Popular activities are horse
riding, off road cycling, fishing, game drives utilizing both cars and
quad bikes, historical tours and affordable sporting facilities. |

One of the oldest houses
in Heilbron, with original wooden floors, ceilings and doors. Wide verandah
and lovely garden. There are three cottages and the house, en-suite with
separate entrances, bath and showers. One bedroom, also with own entrance,
en-suite with bath only. House with three en-suite bedrooms,one queen-size
bed and two-bedroom each with two three quarter beds. The house has an
equipped kitchen, living room with TV and is linked to the main house.
There is ample undercover parking. The atmosphere is quiet, homely and
private. We have braai facilities, swimming pool, covered parking, and
TV’s, coffee and tea facilities. |

Indunduma
Resort in the northern Free State, Koppies district is a holiday resort
and wedding/conference venue. Indunduma Resort currently boasts two
fully equipped luxury chalets and two fully equipped permanent caravans
with adjoining tents. The camp site has ablution facilities with showers
and a private entrance. There is a also a pool on site. Wedding and
conference facilities are available for group bookings. Induduma has its
own fully licensed restaurant and bar which can seat 100 people. There
is a stone Chapel on the site which can seat 100 people depending on the
seating configuration. Indunduma Resort has a nearby dam, nature reserve
and koppi. |
