We will meet you on arrival and departure at the Airport or deliver and collect anywhere within a 30km radius of Cape Town between 07h00 and 22h00, free of charge.  A delivery fee will be charged outside these parameters.

DRIVERS LICENCES

All drivers must be over 23 years old and be able to produce at the time the contract is signed, a current unendorsed drivers licence that they have held for not less than 2 years.

PAYMENT

Payment by non-account customers may only be made by credit card.  The Hirer's credit card details are required prior to delivery of the vehicle.

MINIMUM RENTAL CHARGE

The minimum rental period is 24 hours

EXTENSION OF THE RENTAL PERIOD

You are welcome to extend your rental, subject to availability.  Notice of extension of rental must be received prior to the termination of the current agreement.  A vehicle driven after the contract period would be without insurance and could be reported stolen.

DISTANCE TRAVELLED

The distance travelled is calculated from depot to depot.

ODOMETERS

Odometers are sealed and if tampered with, a charge of 1000 km per day will be levied.  All special rates will fall away and the daily rate plus kilometers travelled will apply.

FUEL

Vehicles leave our depot with a full tank of Caltex Techron Unleaded fuel and the hirer pays for refuelling on their return to the depot.  It is not possible to purchase petrol in South Africa with a credit card, Master, Visa, Diners, American Express etc.

EXCESS WAIVER

Should the hirer opt to accept Excess Waiver, no insurance excess will be charged subject to the hirer not having breached any conditions of the agreement.  It does not cover theft or damage to the vehicle due to negligence by the Hirer or authorised drivers, collision with stationary objects or vehicles or while travelling on dirt roads or conditions that are not suitable for the vehicle.  Damaged or stolen tyres, wheel rims, hub caps, radios and glass will be replaced at the cost of the Hirer regardless of the insurance cover accepted.

LIMITATIONS OF USE

The vehicle may not be driven further than 500 km from Cape Town without prior authorisation in writing.

INSURANCE EXCESS

The applicable excess will apply in the event of damage to the vehicle or theft, howsoever caused.
