| Should
you feel more energetic, you have several beautiful tidal pools and great
swimming beaches a shell's throw away. A 15 minute walk will get you to
the famous St. James swimming beach with its row of colourful change rooms
you've probably seen on many post cards.
The
beaches of Fish Hoek and Muizenberg are a 5 min drive away, or for those
who like a brisk walk, about 25 minutes' walk. Go cycling along the breath-taking
Cape Point route (Harbour Place is situated right on this route) or hike
in the beautiful nature reserve at the base of the mountain right behind
the apartment.

and the world's wine estates in a short visit to the Cape? Well, now you
can. The WineSense Wine Bar on the Majestic Village Estate offers a new
concept in the enjoyment of wine. Equipped with “draft-style” wine dispensers,
it gives you the opportunity to taste several wines without having to purchase
an entire bottle. Of course, nothing stops you from buying an entire case
or two once you've discovered your favourite.
Kalk
Bay Books:
This
quaint book shop is located in the old “Klipkantien” (Stone Saloon), designed
by renowned architect John Parker and built in 1913. Here you'll find all
