The
Black Eagle Lodge is situated on Kempsrivier Farm and is set on a spring
water dam, which overlooks the farm. From an expansive verandah one may
savour magnificent views of the rolling wheat fields and majestic Overberg
mountains.
Awake
to the call of a sugar bird and unwind to the orchestral sounds of the
African night. Spend summer days cooling off in the natural water and wintry
evenings relaxing in front of a log fire. Enjoy spectacular starry skies
from the sheltered boma style barbecue area. |

interior finishings echo the natural rustic surroundings. Three double
bedrooms offer luxury bedding. Two bathrooms (one en suite) offer showers,
a stone bath and plenty of fresh towels. The open plan living area has
a cosy lounge with fireplace and well equipped kitchen - lighting is solar
powered and the fridge and stove run on gas. A loft above the fireplace
offers an inviting sleeping area for children.
Enjoy
exploring the many diverse activities on this working farm - these include
sheep shearing, fruit picking and wheat harvesting. |
