One
of the most beautiful buildings in Hermanus, Whale Rock Lodge, with its
shining white façade, glowing woodwork and thick heavy thatch and
framed in rolling lawns, has an air of welcome, of warmth, and of well
being that will not disappoint you.
Whale
Rock is a perfect base from which to explore the area. Our personal attention
will provide you with absolute luxury, comfort, and tranquility.

offer 11 en-suite rooms consisting of three king-size beds, two queen-size
beds, and six three-quarter twin beds. All 11 rooms have full bathrooms
with bath and separate shower, and are equipped with TV and M-Net, fans,
telephones, hairdryers, heaters, clock radios, and electric blankets.
We
provide room service tea and coffee from 07h00 to 20h00. Each room also
features a sitting area and a separate entrance onto the garden.

Our
fire-lit sitting room has a well stocked honesty bar, and a full English
breakfast is served in the sun room overlooking the pool and our fabulous
koi pond. In addition, we provide restaurant, recreational, and onward
travel booking services.
Whale
Rock is situated 3 km from the centre of the village, 6 km from the Hermanus
Golf Club, and 15 km from Arabella Golf Club. Hermanus is a wonderful
year-round holiday destination, blessed by a magnificence of mountain and
sea, endless beaches, and incomparable cliff paths from which to view the
Southern Right whales who visit our shores between July and December. The
Walker Bay Wine Wander boasts famous vineyards and there are great expanses
of fynbos and vast varieties of birdlife.
