Karoo hotel is an experience that can’t be missed.
Just off the magnificently
scenic Route 62, only 2.5 hours from Cape Town en route between Cape Town
and the garden Route/Cango Caves, you’ll find the Barrydale Karoo Hotel
nestled in the sun drenched valley of the Langeberg Mountains. Even in
winter the day time temperature is moderate.

| Barrydale offers the visitor
much to see and explore aside from the beautiful walks in the area you
can browse the picturesque village of Barrydale, take a drive though the
scenic Tradauw pass which is very close by, unwind in the hot springs,
a 20 minute drive from the hotel or just relax in front of the open fires
and enjoy fine wines, ports and bubbly in our character-filled bar.

We have an extensive wine
list, which includes the best local wines, in our fully stocked bar. Cigars,
single malt whiskeys and cognacs are also available for the connoisseur.
For dinner we have the excellent restaurant Mez on our premises and at
the end of the evening snuggle under luxurious percale linen with electric
blankets to beat the cold.

| The Barrydale Karoo Hotel,
under new management since April this year, has introduced a traditional
Karoo Sunday lunch offering a delicious three course meal at value-for-money
prices. Pub lunches are also available on Saturdays.
The hotel has 15 rooms, it’s
easy enough to book the whole hotel and fill it exclusively with your friends
for a special occasion or just a good party.

We have a variety of catering
options available and can tailor-make a weekend to suit your occasion.
We have piano, CD players, DVD and even a turntable with a great selection
of vinyl records in the bar. Guests are also invited to bring their own
vinyls and play DJ themselves.
Our rates include a hearty
Karoo breakfast and we offer greatly reduced prices when you book the whole
hotel for one night or more.

throughout the hotel. This eclectic hotel is a mix of old and new and has
something to offer for everyone.
