Welcome
to a unique setting. We offer a beautiful family home built out of organic
materials such as mud, straw, and wood. It is finished with natural sealants,
eco-friendly paints and lots of love.
Here
you can relax in a room furnished with natural and organic materials, take
a shower heated by the sun and soon recycled in the garden, and enjoy a
full organic breakfast.

|
| The
guest accommodation, with its own private entrance, consists of a spacious
triple bedroom with en-suite shower and ablution facilities.
The
main bedroom has a luxury queen size bed and there is also a single futon
bed that is suitable for an additional adult. Linen, curtains, mattresses
and towels have all been made from natural and organic or recycled materials.
The room features views of the Cape mountains. There is access to the garden,
which includes an outside fireplace, and off-street parking is available.

|
The
house is situated 200 m from Muizenberg beachfront, which is a perfect
beach to learn to surf as well as a family swimming beach.
There
are many other family facilities behind the beachfront, including waterslides
and putt putt courses. Muizenberg has many shops, including organic grocery
shops, restaurants, surf schools and performance venues. It is one of the
most diverse and interesting communities in the Cape.

|
| The
house is also 200 m from Zandvlei, which is home to the Cape Town International
Kite Festival in spring, as well as water sports and plenty of birdlife.
We
are also a five minute walk from the False Bay train station, which has
regular connections to central Cape Town and to other resort towns along
the Cape Peninsula.

|
|
|
The
Muizenberg section of the Table Mountain range has spectacular hiking and
caving opportunities and can be reached within a 10 minute walk. Within
a half an hour walk, you could reach Kalk Bay with its popular attractions,
via St. James, which features a wonderful and safe tidal pool for swimmers
of all ages.
Close
by are highways to the city centre, the northern suburbs and as far out
as Stellenbosch and the Winelands.

|
| "To
escape city life, spend a weekend at this retreat. It lives up to its reputation
as Cape Town's greenest B & B with generous hosts. It is a refuge from
the sun" Sunday Times South Africa, 28 February 2010.
