Game Drives
Leopard Mountain
The Zululand Rhino Reserve
is the second release site of the WWF/ Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Black Rhino
Range Expansion Project. The reserve is home to four of the Big Five, as
at the moment we cannot have lions around our baby Black Rhino's. We have
a wide variety of antelope and some inquisitive giraffe, as well as jackals,
genets, hyenas, porcupines on the reserve.
Join our experienced guides
on a morning and sunset game drive that go out for approximately two hours.
The sunset game drive allow for a short night-drive towards the end in
search of the elusive nocturnal animals and birds.

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve,
Africa's oldest reserve, was first declared a Game Sanctuary in 1887 before
which it was hunting ground for the Zulu kings. It is also internationally
acclaimed for its conservation efforts and boasts the largest population
of Black and White Rhino in the world.
Hluhluwe Game Reserve is
situated only 50km from Leopard Mountain Game Lodge. You can visit this
marvelous Game Reserve in your own vehicle, or you may ask reception to
book an open vehicle for you. You can enjoy the possibility of seeing the
big five as well as other endangered species in this magnificent Reserve.

How to get there:
When Northbound on the N2
highway, take the Leopard Mountain Lodge turnoff to your left 32kms after
HULUHWE.
Proceed on the road for
12kms to the main gate. The Lodge is a further 1.8kms from the main entrance.
When Southbound on the N2
highway, take the Leopard Mountain turnoff to your right 19kms after MKUZE.
