Head
South Lodge has a "sophisticated contemporary" look and feel about it.
Elements of art deco and retro still exist after the 2004 redecoration.
The 4-star grading by the South African Grading Council is justified by
the decor alone. All 15 luxury double rooms have TV (satellite), bar fridges
and tea/coffee facilities. Air-conditioned, smoking or non-smoking rooms
are available. Head South also offers a free internet connection through
ADSL. You need merely to plug in your laptop/notebook (no adjustments to
be made).
Personal
service is the strong feature of Head South Lodge. Day trips, car rental,
restaurant referral and bookings are all done from Head South Lodge. A
large percentage of guests are from Europe, and most of them are involved
in producing film commercials or photographs for advertising. These groups
come mainly from October through to April, and "model castings" tend to
be an eye-opener for unsuspecting tourists.
Staff
at Head South Lodge are willing to share the South African culture with

the leading Cape Town tourist attraction Victoria & Alfred Waterfront;
