The
Breede River Lodge is situated on the Garden Route midway between Cape
Town and Plettenberg Bay. The area is a mariners dream both on the river
and the sea. Angling features as the number one attraction with many record
breaking catches over the years - as will be seen on the Breede River Lodge
Wall of Fame.

taxi's, deep sea fishing charters, skippered boat hire, spear fishing,
horse rides, hiking, bird watching, walks and kayaking, to the more energetic
quad biking on a nearby farm. |

The
Breede River Lodge is situated on the Garden Route midway between

On
the unspoilt bank of the mighty Breede River that flows into the warm Indian
Ocean. This water course is tidal and navigable for up to 40km.
The
area is a mariners dream both on the river and the sea. Angling
features as the number one attraction with many record breaking catches
over the years - as will be seen on the Breede River Lodge Wall of Fame.
A Kayaking
paradise with other activities such as deep sea charters, river cruises
and fishing and bird watching excursions for the less intrepid
explorer. |
| Imagine
the delight of seeing Raptors in their natural environment, a plentitude
of varied local birds, and the odd international traveller - catching a
breather on his way to Europe.
Add
to this the highest concentration of migrating Southern Right Whales
on the coast of Southern Africa which can be seen from June to November.
For
the more energetic there is Deep Sea Fishing/Snorkeling, Quad biking,
Camel Rides, Horse Riding, Hiking, guided walks and a 9-hole Golf
Course in Heidelberg (38km from the lodge). |

| There
are currently two phases to the Breede River Lodge. The existing phase
one of The Breede River Lodge, comprises 23 units, varying from one bedroom
suites of around 40 m², to Simplexes with lofts, and Duplexes of around
80 m² and 100m² respectively. The latter being 2 Bedroomed units.
In
each case all bedrooms are complimented by their own private bathrooms.
The deluxe cottages average at around 106 m² and have 3 large bedrooms.
All units are fully furnished.
The
Simplexes, Duplexes and Cottages come standard with fireplaces and kitchen
accompaniments making self catering easy and comfortable. |
