Island is situated in the heart of one of the most desirable water sports
locations in the world. Accommodating up to 40 guests, Friday Island is
the perfect venue to host parties, weddings, business functions and team
building weekends.
With
our own little stretch of beach, you can’t get closer to the action. If
it is fun you are after, you are looking at the right place. With the Cape
Sport Centre as our neighbour, we can organise training on all the water
sports you desire, and our friendly staff can guide you on where to go
in Langebaan for a variety of exciting activities.

you are keen to kick back and relax, you can observe the surfing heroes
from the safety of Robinson Cruise, our accommodating bar and restaurant
overlooking the water.
Why
is Langebaan so special? In Langebaan, you can windsurf, kayak or kitesurf
without being directly exposed to the full force of the Atlantic Ocean.
Langebaan has grown considerably over the past decade, with people being
attracted to its mix of perfect wind conditions, with kitesurfing being
the main new attraction.

have a multipurpose venue facility, catering for niche conferences, 21st
birthdays, weekend long 40th birthdays, wedding anniversaries, product
launches and best of all, any function centred around you, including team
building events involving either the ocean or the land and surrounds.

Island charges different rates according to the season and room. Nobody
really needs an excuse on Friday Island, and least of all to come and visit
us. If you do choose to visit, we can offer you the premium venue for a
myriad of activities of all ages and walks of life, who all share the ethos
of carpe diem at your own pace. There’s no rush because you cannot get
closer to the beach.

beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed if required. Each room
faces the courtyard. These rooms can be combined as two interleading rooms
to form a family room, which sleeps up to four guests if required.
