Cove is a quaint cottage set in the hub of Kalk Bay. It is a semi-detached
cottage in a small development which has 5 other cottages. Security is
good. It has a small outside sitting area at the front and at the back
of the cottage.
It
sleeps two people, but has a single bed which doubles up as a seating area
for a third person or child. The bath is large and deep and can be very
romantic. There is a Queen Anne fire place, great for a romantic winter
getaway.
Set
30 metres or so off the Main Road, it is protected from the noise but within
easy walking distance of all shops and restaurants and the harbour. There
is however no off-street parking or sea view. Plans are in progress to
increase the upstairs to two bedrooms, one of which will have a balcony
and sea view. It has gas water heating, convection microwave and combination
washing machine/tumble dryer and air conditioning in the bedroom.

This
semi-detached cottage has an open-plan living area, beautiful bathroom
and loft bedroom with queen sized bed. Ideal for a couple, although there
is a single bed downstairs which doubles as a couch. A quaint outside space
at the back for the shade or at the front for sun lovers. The cottage also
has great appeal as a romantic winter getaway with the Queen Anne fireplace,
old fashioned stove for slow roasts or soup and outsized bath in which
to indulge oneself, to be followed by a glass of lovely local wine or bubbly
at the fire place!
