Die Dorpshuis
is centrally situated in Calitzdorp a quaint little town on ROUTE 62, nestled
in the heart of the Klein Karoo, Western Cape.
Die Dorpshuis
was built in the late 1800's as a prestige residence for an unknown person.
Since then it was extended and became the residence and surgery for the
dorp's doctors and eventually the home to a local school master.

and have the most relaxing stay at our B & B and Self Catering in beautifully
decorated, comfortable en-suite rooms with DSTV. A warm atmosphere is created
by Oregon floors and fireplaces.
The
garden, described by a guest as 'a little farm glen', is our pride, and
is rounded off with an azure pool and braai area.

The restaurant
is open around the clock, and offers mouthwatering traditional home-cooked
fare.
The gift
shop sells fresh dried fruit, home-made jams and curios.

rooms are at the back of the house where there is a backporch. It overlooks
the swimming pool and the garden, with double beds and can sleep two people
maximum in each room, with TV, DSTV hotel package, six of the rooms with
air-conditioning and the other with a fan, all rooms with en-suite bathrooms.
Family
rooms are very big units which consists of a two double beds and a single
bed , a cornerbath and a shower. It has wooden floors and is at the front
of the house on the far right, with a garden view, en-suite, TV, DSTV with
hotel package. |
