Hoek beach is one of the safest in the Cape for bathing and bodyboarding
and, when the wind picks up, hobie-cats and windsurfers take to the waves.
The magnificent beach, reached through a secure parking area, is great
for swimming, snorkelling, hobie-cat sailing and paddle-skiing.
Visitors
are sometimes treated to the sight of the local fishermen `trekking´
for haarders and yellowtail fish off Fish Hoek beach. The beach has a playground
