Guest Farm offers more than just accommodation in the Breede River Valley.
Spend a few days enjoying the famous Route 62 hospitality on a 150ha farm
with the majestic Riviersonderende and Langeberg mountains unfolding as
far as you can see. At night the sky is filled with millions of stars,
without any air or light pollution.
A fountain
baby pool caters for toddlers from which a stone river runs into a larger
pool which overflows into a dam. There are three dams on the farm for enjoyment
by all. Guests are encouraged to walk the farm and enjoy pleasures of the
veld and fynbos, abundant birdlife, small wild animals, fishing in any
of the dams, and of course the calm and silence which you will be aware
of. |
| Two
Victorian style guest cottages - in years gone by were originally farm
workers houses which have now been revamped and updated with French doors
leading off each bedroom onto a large verandah. Inside both cottages you
will find a huge indoor fireplace perfect for cold winters and on the verandah
is another fireplace from where one may enjoy the picture perfect countryside.
Both cottages overlook the dam over the rimflow pool and pretty gardens
and lawn are all makings for a special getaway.
You
will not find alarm clocks, telephones, TV's or radios here, but other
creature comforts such as fridge, microwave, toasters, tea/coffee percolator,
electric frying pan, snackwicher, heaters and hot showers could all help
to make rural life a little easier. Comfortable beds with warm winter or
cool summer linen and towels are provided. |

cottage sleeps four to six people.
Ample
braaiwood, firelighters, matches and grids are also included. If
there is anything we could do to make your stay extra special, we will
be happy to oblige. |
